Over recent years we have seen the life industry grow, but also increase in complexity. There are more product features for advisers to compare and for consumers to understand. Whilst portals have done a lot to make price easily comparable and advisers can produce multi quotes quicker than ever, as an industry we have struggled to ensure quality is documented as a core part of the conversation. Companies such as FTRC do an amazing job of providing this information, however we believe it should now form an integral part of the adviser’s quote process. To address this, we at iPipeline have created a Product Features Report in SolutionBuilder. Using FTRCs data the adviser can now choose the products and features they are interested in and produce a one-page report showing them how well each product performs on the features that matter most to their client.
